CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS

The Society will serve as sponsor or co-sponsor of major conferences organized by the other societies each year. The Conference Committee, designated by the SES Executive Committee will be responsible for the overall conference publicity, special promotional mailing, exhibitor brochures, conference programs, press release and press coverage during the conference, and any other publicity related conference functions.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING IN INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

You are invited to participate in the ISEC Conference to be held
June 28-July 2, 2004 in Kusadasi, Turkey. The ISEC Conference is a major
international forum for the Software Engineering Applications to create a symbiotic relationship among scientists, engineers, software developers, decision makers, and other critical thinkers.


CONFERENCE PAPERS

The conference program will consist of invited and selected papers emphasizing knowledge integration through the study of processes leading to the delivery of a more robust, high–quality line of products, software and services. Plenary sessions and keynote addresses will be presented by prominent speakers. All technical papers will be reviewed by the Program Technical Committee and by three independent peer referees. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Furthermore, competitively selected papers will be reviewed for publication in the Journal.


The main topics of the ISEC-2004 conference are: Software development methodologies, Software architecture, Use of existing technologies or introduce new ones to improve software development, Cross-fertilization of software engineering with other domains, Verification and Validation, Quality Assurance, Agent-Based Modeling, Software Process, Modeling and Agile Software Development, Software Metrics, Software tools, Software Maintenance, Reusability, Project Management, Software Evaluation and Testing, Web Based Software Engineering, Middleware, Distributed Systems,
User interfaces


IMPORTANT DEADLINES

Abstract Submissions Due: January 15, 2004
Full Paper Submissions Due: February 20, 2004
Final Acceptance: April 15, 2005
Final Manuscript Due: May 15, 2004

 
 The abstract (200 words) may be submitted by post, fax or e-mail. All abstracts submitted by e-mail should be sent as PDF attachments. All accepted papers should be prepared in PDF file and e-mailed as attachments to session organizers. The abstracts should include: Title, Author’s Full Name/Names, Affiliations and Addresses*, E- mail Address, Fax, and Telephone. *(Papers with incomplete addresses will not be considered)
